Happy Monday!!! Wanda here today with a card to share with you.
The Quietfire stamp I've used is You Never Know How Strong You Are. This stamp is available cling mounted.
I've done lots of distressing of edges on this card. My top layer is Ranger's manila cardstock and the other layers and folded card are from the Tim Holtz Core'dinations Distress Cardstock pack.
On the piece of manila I started with stenciling snow cap Pigment Ink through the Dylusions Dotted Flowers stencil and dried the ink well. I scribbled some Distress Stain (tattered rose and weathered wood) on my craft sheet, sprayed a little water over the ink and dragged my manila piece through the ink. After drying I dipped the tattered rose colored area into ink again to deepen the color and dried it. The quote is stamped with Archival Ink jet black and embossed with detail clear powder. I sponged Distress Ink pumice stone around the edges and then distressed edges. To further distress the edges I sprayed some water on the back side of the piece just around the edges, let it sit a bit and then crumpled around the edges. I distress the edges of the next two layers and lightly sanded the edges of the folded card. The manila piece is attached to the green piece with foam mounting tape and the green piece to the yellow piece with double sided adhesive. I colored some ribbon from Tim Holtz Trimmings with Distress Stain tattered rose and weathered wood, crumpled it and dried it. I tied the ribbon around the card and also tied a piece of Tim Holtz Linen Ribbon over the first ribbon finishing my colored-ribbon knot on top of the linen ribbon. I added mini paper clips and a trinket pin and then attached the whole thing to the folded card with foam mounting tape.
