Throwback Thursday - Book Cover Decoration

Here is part a little book cover ornament from back in 2008!

Supplies:  (thumbnail links to the products are below!)
Bookboard
Collage Sheet: Vintage Children 2
Black paper or Cardstock
Envelope Template Stamp
Brushed Metallic Paper
Regular Brass Book Corners
Wings Charms
Star Brad
Glue, Glue Dots

Instructions:
  1. Use black cardstock to cover a 2-1/4" square of bookboard.
  2. Stamp Envelope Template on duplex paper. Fold the envelope and glue. Fold the flap to the outside.
  3. Use an awl to pre-pierce a hold for the star brad and insert the brad.
  4. Place the book corner on the covered bookboard and crimp in place.
  5. Fussy-cut the little girl and pop her into the envelope.
  6. Center and glue the envelope onto the bookboard panel.
  7. Use Glue Dots to attach the wings to the book.

I love the book corners. May have to share my book I used them on. I like how you used them like a frame. Timeless, is right.
