Destiny is Not a Matter of Chance Notecard

Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with you my Destiny is Not a Matter of Chance Notecard. I combined a variety of dies, stamps and Modern Gilding Powder, which were all perfect for creating this notecard. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Destiny is Not a Matter of Chance Notecard at home.

To start, die cut a 3 3/4" Stitched Indented Square out of kraft cardstock. Die cut a 3 1/2" Fitted Indented Square out of a piece of book page. Distress the edges of both squares. Ink the edges of both squares using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut a 3 1/4" Stitched Indented Square out of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Grid Background stamp and stamp onto the square. Sprinkle Celtic Mint Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped image. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Distress the edges of the square. Ink the edges of the square using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut a 2 1/4" Stitched Circle out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Destiny is not a Matter of Chance stamp and stamp in the middle of the circle. Sprinkle Copper Scroll Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped sentiment. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Distress the edges of the circle. Ink the edges of the circle using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the ornament from the Love Joy & Peace Christmas Ornament die out of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the ornament and sprinkle Dilly Dilly Lavendar Modern Gilding Powders over the ornament. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Die cut a medium and two small butterflies from the Butterfly Flourish die out of watercolour cardstock. Using a waterbrush and water colours, colour the butterflies as desired.

Adhere the 3 1/2" square to the 3 3/4" square. Foam square the 3 1/4" square to the 3 1/2" square.

Adhere the ornament to the Destiny circle. Foam square the Destiny circle to the middle of the 3 1/4" square.

Adhere the three butterflies as desired around the quote.

To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 3 3/4" x 7 1/2", score at 3 3/4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Here is a closeup of the finished notecard.
