Merry Christmas Mittens

I hope you've been enjoying all the inspiration using the new dies!!!  It's Wanda here to day with a card using the mittens from the Flourished Christmas Minis set (QF / ECD) and the new smaller Merry Christmas (QF / ECD).

Remember, To celebrate the new release, we're having a week long celebration and a giveaway!
To be eligible to win, leave a comment on each blog post on the Quietfire Creations Blog from September 28th through to Friday, October 5th, 2018.  We'll randomly choose three winners and send out one of the new dies to each winner!

I started with a piece of card from the Through The Lens - Wood pack (ECD), cut an oval with a Stitched Oval die (ECD), inked over the paper with Distress Ink Picket Fence, dried it, and glued Silk Microfine Glitter - Silver (ECD) around the edges with Glossy Accents.

I cut both the mittens and Merry Christmas from both red and white cardstock.  I layered Merry Christmas, red over white, offsetting as shown.  For the mittens I pieced the white hearts into the red mittens, glued Sparkly Fluff to the white cuffs and glued the cuffs onto the mittens.  All the die cuts were glued to the oval.

The base is folded kraft card.  Over that is a piece of Kraft Core Distress Cardstock distressed with a sanding block, inked around the edges, and wrapped with a piece of twine.  This is attached to the folded card and then the oval attached.

Thanks for following along and don't forget to leave a comment if you'd like the chance to win a new die set.  And I'd love to here what you think of the card!!!

Hugs, Wanda
