Stamp Focus (& Fun!)- A Cup of Tea & Thee

Hello Crafty Friends!

Do you have a tea lover on your crafty card list or do you want to make a sweet tea invite?  The Tea & Thee stamp set is the perfect stamp set for your crafty project!
Tea & Thee, Set of 7 Stamps - Mounted
Card instructions:

  1. Create a tent fold card using blue card stock.  (My card base had a die cut shape but a simple square is just as pretty!)
  2. Use a water reactive ink pad (such as Spectrum Noir's Harmony Inks or Ranger Distress Inks) to stamp the tea cup and tea splots randomly on a piece of watercolor paper.  Mount to front of card base.
  3. Stamp quote onto watercolor paper.  Cut to a banner.  Cut coordinating blue papers to create two more banners.  Mount to card front using double faced adhesive tape.
  4. Use water reactive ink and water to dye seam binding ribbon.  Scrunch and use heat tool to dry.
  5. Create bow using above ribbon and mount to card front using liquid adhesive.
  6. Adhere bow and coordinating twine to bow center.
Isn't it a sweet stamp set?  The dark blue reminds me of Blue Willow dishes.  (Hmm...perhaps I should stamp blue patterned papers, fussy cut them, and mount them on my next card.)

Are you looking for more crafty inspiration?  Every Thursday Suzanne is sharing a new project via FB Live on the Quietfire Design FB page.  You can check out the craftiness at 7pm EST.  Past videos are available on YouTube.

Oh!  And don't forget about the Suzanne Cannon Fan Group in Facebook.  No pressure, but all the "cool kids" are fans.  ;)

Have a happy, crafty day.

  1. Love the monochromatic look of this, even in blue, still looks very feminine - maybe it's the gorgeous bow!! Lovely work, Kathy Jo!
