Tea Gift Bag

Hey Quietfire Fans! I have a few of friends who love to drink tea and as part of their birthday present,  I love to them add a few bags to their gift. So, I created this awesome Tea Gift Bag which features the Tea Stamp as well as a variety of other Quietfire Design Stamps and A Way With Words stencil. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite hot beverage and learn how to recreate my gift bag at home.

To start, you'll need a cotton drawstring bag. Place the Dotty A Way With Words stencil overtop of the bag. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil. Switch the foam on the blending tool and blend Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink through the same stencil. Switch the foam on the blending tool one more time and blend Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink through the same stencil. Remove the stencil.

Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the Dotted Harlequin stamp and stamp randomly on the bag. Reapply the ink to the stamp and stamp onto the bag six more times.

Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the tea ring and stamp in the middle of the bag. Reapply the ink to the tea ring and stamp slightly overtop of the previous stamped tea ring.

Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the splat stamp and stamp randomly on the bag. Reapply the Jet Black Archival Ink to the splat stamp and stamp four more times. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the splat stamp and stamp randomly on the bag. Reapply the Potting Soil Archival Ink to the splat stamp and stamp seven more times.

Die cut a 2 1/4" stitched circle out of another cotton bag. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Tea stamp and stamp in the middle of the circle. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the tea ring and stamp randomly on the circle. Reapply the ink to the tea ring stamp and stamp randomly five more times on the circle. Ink the edges of the circle using a blending tool with foam and Potting Soil Archival Ink.

To finish off your tea gift bag, foam square the Tea circle to the middle of the bag.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished Tea Gift Bag.
