Hey Quietfire Fans! I was busy creating this past long weekend to create and created this fabulous I Need Coffee Card. By combining a variety of stamps as well as dies from A Way With Words, they were the perfect addition to my card. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite summertime beverage and learn how to recreate my card at home.
To start, you'll need the To Go Cup stamp from the But First, Coffee stamp set. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Reapply ink to the to go cup and stamp onto the same piece of white cardstock. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the steam stamp and stamp onto the same piece of white cardstock. Use a blending tool with foam to blend Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink overtop of one of the to go cups and the steam. Fussy cut the steam, coloured to go cup, the top of the white to go cup and the middle band. Colour the heart in on the white middle band using Tombow Marker 847. Ink the edges of the cup using Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Using a blending tool with foam, blend Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink over a piece of white cardstock. Spritz the paper with water. Dry the piece of cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the I Need Coffee Stamp set from the But First, Coffee stamp set and stamp onto the coloured piece of cardstock. Cut the sentiment into two pieces. Distress the edges of both sentiment pieces. Ink the edges of both sentiment pieces using Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Die cut the Flourished Oval Frame out of white cardstock. Apply a coat of Emboss It Ink to the frame. Sprinkle Burnt Copper Leaves Embossing Powder over the entire surface of the frame. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.
Cut a piece of white cardstock that measures 3 3/4" x 5". Use a blending tool with foam, blend Vintage Photo, Ground Espresso and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Ink over the entire piece of cardstock. Spritz the cardstock piece with water. Dry the cardstock piece.
Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the ring stamp from the Tea stamp set and stamp randomly on the cardstock piece. Reapply ink the ring as needed and stamp six more times.
Apply Emboss It Ink to the dot stamp and stamp randomly on the cardstock background piece. Reapply Ink to the dot stamp as needed and continue stamping on the cardstock piece eight more times. Sprinkle Just Java Embossing Powder over the dot stamped images. Tap off the excess powder and emboss it with a heat tool. Distress the edges of the cardstock piece. Ink the edges of the cardstock piece using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
