Thinking of You Card

Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with you my Thinking of You Card. I combined a variety of A Way With Words Dies and stamps as well as Modern Gilding Powders which were all perfect for creating this card. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Thinking of You Card at home.

To start, you'll need to choose three pieces of coordinating patterned paper. Cut the first piece to 4 1/2" x 5 1/2". Cut the second piece to 4 1/4" x 5 1/4". Cut the third piece to 4" x 5". Ink the edges of all three pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the Flourished Frame out of a piece of white cardstock.

Die cut the scroll from the Flourished Frame die out of a piece of coordinating patterned paper.

From the Create a Wreath die, die cut the bow out of a piece of coordinating patterned paper.

From the Butterfly Flourish die, you'll need the small butterfly. Cut the butterfly twice out of another piece of coordinating paper.

From the Christmas Accents you'll need the extra small and small flowers. Die cut the small flower three times out of one of the patterned papers already used. Die cut the extra small flower three times out of one of the other coordinating patterned papers. Shape the flowers as desired.

Die cut a 1 1/2" Stitched Indented Rectangle out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Thinking of You sentiment from the Christmas Collection Stamp Set and stamp onto the rectangle. Sprinkle Gothic Black Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped sentiment. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Adhere the 4 1/4" patterned paper piece to the 4 1 /2" patterned paper piece. Foam square the 4" patterned paper piece to the 4 1/4" patterned paper piece.

Adhere the flourished frame to the 4" patterned paper piece. Adhere the scroll to the middle of the frame. Adhere the bow to scroll as desired.

Foam square the Thinking of You rectangle to the middle of the 4" patterned paper piece as desired.

Adhere the flowers together. Adhere on flower to the top right corner of the rectangle. Adhere the remaining flowers to the bottom left corner of the rectangle.

Adhere the two butterflies as desired in the bottom left corner of the rectangle.

To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of a piece of white cardstock that measures 4 1/2" x 11", score at 5 1/2". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.

Here is the finished Thinking of You Card.
