Congratulations Card

Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with you my Congratulations Card. I combined a variety of A Way With Words Dies, Stamps from Quietfire Design and Modern Gilding Powders which were all perfect for creating this card. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Congratulations Card at home.

To start, die cut a 3 3/4" Stitched Indented Rectangle out of a piece of watercolour cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Grid Background stamp and stamp randomly on the rectangle. Reapply ink as needed. Sprinkle Diamond Glass Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped image. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Spritz Carnation, Aloe and Turquoise Gloss Spray on the emboss rectangle. Once the rectangle has dried, distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut a 3 1/2" Fitted Indented Rectangle out of a piece of book page. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Twiggy Heart Wreath & Sentiments Stamp Set, you'll need the heart and congratulations word.

Apply Emboss It Ink to the heart stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Sprinkle Copper Scroll Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped heart. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Fussy cut the heart out. Ink the edges of the heart using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the congratulations stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Fussy cut the word out. Ink the edges of the word using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Butterfly Flourish die, die cut the small butterfly three times out of a piece of kraft cardstock.

From the Flourished Frame die, you'll need the scroll. Die cut the scroll out of a piece of black cardstock.

Foam square the 3 1/2" rectangle to the 3 3/4" rectangle.

Adhere the scroll to the middle of the 3 1/2" rectangle. Foam square the heart to the middle of the 3 1/2" rectangle as desired.

Adhere the congratulations word to the middle of the heart. Adhere the three butterflies as desired around the heart. Fold up the wings of the butterfly as desired.

Cut a piece of black cardstock that measures 3 3/4" x 10", score at 5". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.

Here is the finished Congratulations Card.
