Destiny is Not a Matter Tag

Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with you my Destiny is Not a Matter Tag. I combined a variety of A Way With Words Dies, Quietfire Design stamps and Modern Gilding Powders which were all perfect for creating this tag. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Destiny is Not a Matter Tag at home.

To start, you'll need a #8 White Tag which measures 3 1/8" x 5 3/4". Spritz the tag with Gloss Spray Stain in Turquoise, Magenta and Eggplant. Allow the tag to dry.

From the Tea stamp set, you'll need the cup ring. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the cup ring stamp and stamp on the tag as desired. You'll need a total of seven cup rings. Reapply ink to the stamp as needed. Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the Peace on Earth Die from a piece of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the die cut and sprinkle Dragon Berry Modern Gilding Powders overtop of the die cut. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Die cut a 2 1/4" Stitched Circle out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Destiny is not a Matter quote and stamp onto the circle. Sprinkle Gothic Black Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped quote. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Ink the edges of the circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Apply Emboss It Ink to a small piece of white cardstock. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powders over the white cardstock piece. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. From the Peace on Earth Die, die cut the stars twice out of the embossed piece of cardstock. You'll need a total of five stars.

Adhere the Destiny circle to the middle of the Peace on Earth die cut.

Use foam squares to adhere the Peace on Earth flourish to the left hand side of the tag as desired.

Adhere two stars to the top left side of the tag. Adhere one star in the bottom left side of the tag. Adhere the remaining three stars in the bottom right side of the tag.

Tie a piece of twine through the top of the tag. To finish the tag, splatter Brushed Pewter Distress Spray Stain on the tag as desired. Allow time for the splatter areas to dry.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished tag.
