Eat, Drink & Be Merry Wall Hanging

Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with you my Eat, Drink & Be Merry Wall Hanging, which can easily be turned into a card. I combined a variety of A Way With Words Dies and Modern Gilding Powders which were all perfect for creating this wall hanging. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Eat, Drink & Be Merry Wall Hanging at home.

To start, choose two pieces of coordinating patterned papers. Die cut a 4 1/2" Stitched Indented Rectangle out of one of the patterned papers. Die cut a 4 1/4" Fitted Indented Rectangle out of the other patterned paper. Distress the edges of both pieces. Ink the edges of both pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the Flourished Frame out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the frame. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powders over the entire surface of the frame. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Die cut the Eat, Drink & Be Merry words out of a piece of white cardstock.

From the Hearts & Love Collection Stamp Set, you'll need the two outlined hearts. Apply Emboss It Ink to the hearts and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Reapply the ink to the stamp two more times and stamp onto the same piece of white cardstock. Sprinkle Copper Scroll Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped hearts. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Fussy cut five of the hearts out.

Foam square the 4 1/4" rectangle to the 4 1/2" rectangle.

Adhere the Flourished Frame to the 4 1/4" rectangle.

Adhere the Eat, Drink & Be Merry words down the 4 1/4" rectangle. I have some of the words sitting on the flourished frame.

Adhere the fussy cut hearts as desired around the words.

To finish the wall hanging, punch two holes at the top of the rectangles. Tie a piece of twine through either hole creating the hanging part.

Here are a few closeups of the finish wall hanging.

Here is the finished Eat, Drink & Be Merry Wall Hanging.
