STENCIL,SCREEN & STAMP FOR FALL

Hi Everyone!  Holly here and I have a very easy technique for you today, called Faux Cross-stitch.
You need a piece of window screen or the mesh drywall tape.
On the table, I have my piece of cardstock, then the screen, then the stencil, and it's taped down with repositional tape. You can see the sponged ink here too. I used the wild honey ink first, then shaded with the spiced marmalade using the stencil brush. The brush takes the ink to the edges of the stencil, filling in the image. I continued until all the image was inked. Then, I removed the stencil and screen.
The beautiful quote inspired this technique because it reminds me of what you'd find on a needlework sampler. I used sepia archival ink to stamp the quote and sponge the edges of all the cardstock pieces.
The card was rounded out with a strip of burlap that I shredded a bit, then glued a few punched out leaves to it.

I hope you give this a try. One more thing to try with stencils.
Thank you for looking and Happy Fall Y'all!
