Welcome Little One - Guest Designer Yvonne van de Grijp

Hello everyone,

I´m Yvonne from The Netherlands and I am ever so proud to have been asked to be  guest designer for gorgeous Quietfire Stamps this month!
I´ll be doing two blogposts and  (obviously...lol) this is my first one.
Here in Holland we love the romantic, vintage style and I thought it might be nice to share a project with you showing the style I like so much.

Instructions:
·       The white card base measures  5¾"x 7¾".
  1.        Cut Kaisercraft patterned paper (Pitter Patter Collection, P1549 Baby Cakes or similar) to size 5⅜"x 7⅜" and ink the edges of the paper using an Ink blending  tool  and Distress Ink (color used: BrushedCorduroy )
  2.      Glue it upon the cardbase using foam squares.
  3.      Cut white cardstock to size 5"x7" and stamp Quietfire  Welcome Little One (#6445) exactly in the middle using Sepia Archival Ink.
  4.         Cut/emboss  Spellbinders®Classic Ovals Small (S4-112) #4 (with #1 being the smallest die template) within the centre of the stamped text.
  5.         Leave the die template upon the paper and stencil the paper with the Ink blending tool and Distress ink SpunSugar, first from the centre (over the die template) outward and then from the edges to the centre.
  6.         Ink the edges using Brushed Corduroy Distress ink and distress the paper edges using the TimHoltz  Paper distresser and slightly rub the Brushed Corduroy inkpad along the edges afterwards.
  7.         Glue upon cardbase using foamsquares.
  8.         Cut/emboss/stencil Spellbinders 5x7 Heirloom Legacy (S6-010) from white cardstock, using Spun Sugar Distress ink to stencil.
  9.         Glue upon cardbase using foam squares.
  10.      Stamp QuietfireTen Tiny Tag sentiments (item#6382) upon white cardstock using Jetblack Archival ink.
  11.         Cut out a banner using scissors. Ink the edges with Brushed Corderoy Distress ink and glue upon the card using foam squares.
  12.         Embellish the card with lots of flowers and leaves.

I hope you like my card and...
Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs from Holland,
Yvonne van de Grijp
