Masculine "Thanks" card

Hello Crafty Friends!  Kathy Jo here sharing a masculine "Thanks" card using Quietfire Designs' Fill'er Up T Thanks stamp:
Thanks - Fill 'er Up T - Mounted
I don't know about you, but sometimes I find masculine cards to be tricky: I always want to use a big bow or glitter or flowers or butterflies on my projects.  However, masculine cards typically do not have those much loved components.  So when I decided to make a thank you card for a male friend of ours, I was not sure where to start.  Luckily Quietfire Design's Thanks stamp is perfect for a feminine or masculine card.
The corrugated tent fold card base had Distress inks in Antique Linen and Vintage Photo applied to the edges.  Next, two pieces of Tim Holtz patterned papers were layered.  The top piece was torn along one edge and embossed using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Trendy Tiles embossing folder.  Distress Ink was added to the edges.  Spellbinders postage stamp die set was used to cut scrap red patterned paper.  Thanks was stamped using black Archival Ink onto two sheets of patterned paper.  The "T" from the orange paper was fussy cut and adhered as shown.
Some twine and black gems were the finishing touches on the manly thanks card.

I do hope that you enjoyed the manly card!  I know I enjoyed making it- the Fill'er T is such a fun stamp!

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a happy crafty day!
Big Hugs,
Kathy Jo

Very nice...it's so difficult sometimes to create one that a man would like, but this one is excellent. Thanks!
