This is a special weekend at Quietfire Creations as today and tomorrow's posts will share wedding project ideas using beautiful dies and stamps designed by Suzanne Cannon. Each day there will be photos and a video of the projects created. Oh- and there is a giveaway, too! Woo-who!
Here is the Day 1 video with projects details: (If you are receiving this in an email, please view the video on YouTube HERE)
Let's dive right into the first project...Save the Date. The timeless and elegant die is perfect on the card front:
Do you like the chalkboard style? Doesn't it look fabulous against the chalkboard background?
And below is a summer floral style. As you can see, the die is versatile! It looks great in so many styles.
Don't forget the inside of your Save the Date card! Here is a sample card inside. It used stamps from the Months & Numbers and the Please Join Us stamp sets.
Ok. So your Save the Date cards are out and now it is time to prepare your wedding invites. I created an elegant pocket to hold the RSVP, the invitation and the RSVP envelope.
The RSVP is a gorgeous example of Suzanne's amazing calligraphy. The "V" is elegant! Love the flourishes extending from the V.
It is such a happy card front. The hearts were added for some extra love. :)
Last - but definitely not least - is the invitation. The invitation combined three dies: You're Invited, Heart Spray and the flourish from the Flourished Frame die set.
The back of the card used the Months & Numbers and the Please Join Us stamp sets.
You have watched the video and seen some project photos for inspiration...would you like a chance to win a $35 gift certificate to buy Suzanne's dies and stamps or stencils? Of course you do!!! Here is what you can do to enter to win:

Although my wedding is long past (like almost 36 years past!), I can find superb inspiration from these stunning sets. There are still all kinds of parties in my extended family— birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, and graduations, for example— that would benefit from all of these ideas. And, I agree with Kathy Jo entirely about the beauty of the calligraphy. Suzanne’s hands create such awe-inspiring art and that makes her designs so very easy to use.
ReplyDeleteYour comments are so kind, Mary. I am sure they made Suzanne smile. (I know I did!)

Love these! Especially the RSVP. So elegant and simple.
ReplyDeleteWe just went to a wedding last weekend and have 2 children who are getting to the age of getting married. I could be ready ahead of time with these!!
Oh yes! I adore the RSVP! That would be totally shocking for your children to announce about their engagement and you hand them a box with all the cards complete! How special would that be? :)
