Flourished Christmas Minis Gable boxes...and giveaway!

Hello Crafty Friends!

Have you been enjoying the projects created using the newly released Flourished Christmas Minis?  The minis are perfect for your Christmas projects this year: from tags to cards to lanterns and scrapbook pages...and treat boxes!  Today I am sharing a few treat boxes using the Gable Die Box and the Flourished Christmas minis.

The gable treat boxes are too easy and fun to put together!  The boxes will be great for table settings or treat gifts for the little (or big!) kids on your holiday list.

I made a lot of these boxes this week but thought I would share a few for inspiration:

This box was created using ivory card stock for the box.  I die cut the mini reindeer using scrap ivory card stock and rubbed it with light red ink.  Next, I dyed white seam binding using water and some of the red ink tapped onto a craft mat.  Isn't it pretty?

Another fun gable box was die cut using Kraft card stock.  I then die cut red metallic card stock using the Ho Ho Ho die.  White scrap card stock and the snowflake from the Brrrr die set was used to create the wee snowflake on the box side.
Last- but definitely not least- is the gold glitter gable box.  The box looks so festive in the gold glitter.  The mittens are a perfect combo with the die cut square background mounted on the box.  For the mitten cuffs I added Nuvo Crystal Drops...and thought it looked so nice that I used the drops in the mitten hearts, too.
Now, I have to warn you: once you start die cutting the Gable Box and Minis you won't want to quit!  The boxes are so stinking cute!

You can find the Flourished Christmas Minis on the Quietfire Design site HERE.  The Gable Box is HERE.

Oh, just look at those adorable little baby mittens again! I’m pretty sure they may be becoming my favorite, although all of them are adorable. What great planning to have each of them fit perfectly onto the sides of the gable boxes. Lovely trio of tiny gifts.
