Hi There!!! I'm not sure if zing is the right word but this card sure does have a pop because of the beautiful embossed metallic along with the glitter tape. (hmmm, maybe pizzazz would be better)
Isn't this quote wonderful? We all need a Christmas heart .. every day of the year!!! This is one of the new Christmas stamps - Let Us Remember.
The gold paper is Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Metallic Paper. I die cut a rectangle (ECD - Garden Notes Frame It Stitched Rectangles) from the paper and then embossed it with a 3D folder (Sizzix - Tim Holtz - Kaleidascope). I added just a bit of Distress Ink (Festive Berries) around the edges.
The quote is stamped in black on white cardstock - a piece smaller than the gold paper but larger than the die cut rectangle. This way I could stamp the quote and then line up the paper behind the opening. Glitter tape was added before attaching it. I cut another piece of white a bit bigger than the gold, distressed the edges and layered the gold on top after adding the glitter tape as shown. A red folded card and a poinsettia and it's done.
