Autumn Thanks

Happy Autumn!  It's Suzanne here today with a project with a Thanksgiving theme.  This is for an Elizabeth Craft Designs Group post which you can see over on their blog.

Autumn is such an amazing riot of colours!  Simply gorgeous!  And so that is what inspired this card!  Thank you Autumn!

Supplies:
A Way With Words 4 Seasons  QFD | ECD
A Way With Words Thanks   QFD | ECD
A Way With Words Leaves Snowflake Stencil  QFD | ECD
Soft Finish Cardstock: Pale Peach, Rust, White
Glue Dots Micro
Scrapbook Adhesive 3D Foam Squares
Distress Inks in Bundled Sage, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade and Festive Berries.
Makeup brushes or similar

Instructions:
  1. Form a 5 x 7" tent fold card base from white cardstock.
  2. Die cut Autumn from Pale Peach and Thanks from Rust.
  3. Cut a rectangle approximately 6 x 4.5" from white cardstock (this will be trimmed later).
  4. Use removable tape to hold the stencil on the white rectangle near the top.  Designer Tip:  You might want to cover the snowflake cutouts on the stencil so you don't accidentally colour in them!
  5. Blend the Distress colours through the stencil onto the Soft Finish Cardstock starting with green on the left and red on the right as shown.
  6. Trim the stenciled cardstock to 5.75 x 4".  Cut a mat slightly larger from Rust cardstock.
  7. Colour blend Festive Berries on the bottom of the Autumn die cut as shown and adhere the word dies to the stenciled panel with small pieces of Clear Double Sided Adhesive or Glue Dots.
  8. Attach this panel to the mat and then both panels to the card base using 3D Foam Squares.

Now give it to someone special!
Thanks for having a look!  Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy creating, Suzanne
