Celtic Christmas Stamp Set

Hi Everyone it's Teresa here today to share one of my favorite cards i think i have done 

so far.  I love all things Celtic and have rich family history in it so i let my inspiration 

take flight and this is what i came up with.  It's super rich in color and has just enough 

gold to really set it off.

I wanted to use both stamps on the front so i cut a piece of card stock in the rich peacock 

color like the card base to fit both of them and then i used a really wrinkled up piece 

of tissue to decoupage over the front of it.  I let it dry really good and then i use foam 

daubers to apply 2 colors of aqua ink over the tissue. Then i stamped the image in black 

detail ink and embossed it with gold embossing powder.  The black shows through just 

a little to give it a vintage look.  And just to add a little more age to it i used a 

Versafine pen around the edges and added more gold embossing powder.  You will 

need to adhere it really good to the paper with 3D foam squares to make it lay flat 

since it is so thick. The printed back round papers i used are from DCWV.

GIVE THANKS- CARD

Hi Everyone! This is Holly and I'm excited to be showing you this card featuring GIVE THANKS- one of the new stamp sets at Quietfire Design.

On kraft cardstock I stamped the sentiment using VERSAMARK ink, then applied the COPPER EMBOSSING POWDER. Then it was cut into a simple rectangle, and sponged around the edges with Black Soot DISTRESS INK. 

I made two embellishments with the PAPER CORD, forming three loops and fastening at the base of the loops. The ends were tucked under the edge of the sentiment kraft cardstock. Some leaves were attached over the loops- they had been stamped then copper and metallic green paints were dabbed on. A few dots of paint added to the sentiment piece to complete the card,

Fall is heading our way and we love it! The colours are so rich and warm. A true feast for the senses and one more thing to be grateful for.

Halloween Wicked Trick or Treat Box

I've created a quick and easy gift box for Halloween using the "Trick or Treat" stamp from the Halloween Wicked Collection, a must have set for the upcoming spooky holiday! This set has all the stamps you need to make wickedly fabulous Halloween cards for those you love!!

My project is made from a box I picked up in the wedding section at the dollar store. You know, the kind that you use for wedding favors? Easy to put together and decorate! I sprayed my box with Clearsnap Smooch Red Spritz and let it drip down the sides to resemble blood. Next, I stamped "Trick or Treat" with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder, then cut it out with Spellbinders Paper Arts™ Labels One Scalloped and adhered it to my box. I added a funky skeleton bat from the K&Company Brenda Walton Haunted Chipbox and topped it off with fun googly eyes! Lastly, I stuffed it with Ghost Chocolate, Zombie Food and Eyeball Gum!
