Hello and Welcome!
Jutta here today to share with you a 3D birthday card project.
Ooh la la...Paris in Spring comes to mind when I look at this card with
it's beautiful roses and 3D Eiffel Tower.
This card features two wonderful stamps from Quietfire Design.
On the front is the lovely Rose quote from the Natures Quote Marks stamp set. And on the inside I used the Happy Birthday from the Happy Family Days stamp set.
Front of rose card with tower standing in front.
More roses inside framing the happy birthday.
For my 6" x 6" card base I used a half sheet of Tim Holtz Core'dinations Cardstock in Salmon. And two sheets of rose print patterned paper from the Webster Pages Triple Pack cut to 5-3/4" square. I ran a gold paint Sharpie marker around the edge of rose paper for a bit of sparkle. Then I stamped the Rose quote in Sepia Archival Ink. I taped in the ribbon pieces (see photo detail) before adhering the Paper to the Cardstock with Double Sided Tape.
Next I die cut the inside paper and frame with memory box dies before adhering to inside of card. Then stamped the Happy Birthday in Sepia Archival Ink. For the tower I cut 4 die cuts from the Spellbinders Shapeabilities, French Frills, folded two of them in half and adhered in between middle of front and back tower pieces with Liquid Glue. Set aside until completely dry. To complete I attached the tower with double sided tape to the ribbon and embellished with feather, ribbon roses and bows from my sewing stash using Pop Dots to attach.
