Hello!!! It's Wanda with you!!! It's Spring!! It took it's time getting to southern Iowa. Yes, it teased us a couple of times but seems to have finally decided to stay. Yay!! I'm sure summer is just around the corner as we don't seem to keep Spring very long.
This card uses a stamp from the Soar Collection along with the Soar cutting die. For my background I started with a Gel Press print from my stash. I tore a section from the Tim Holtz Collage Paper Aviary and glued it over the print using Distress Collage Medium Matte. Once dry I used a metal ruler to tear the paper into a square. Next there is some stenciling with Archival Ink and the edges are inked with Distress Ink. "let your dreams soar" is stamped and embossed with black powder. The panel was attached to a grey cardstock panel, the edges lightly inked with Distress Ink, real stitching added, twine wrapped around near the bottom and tied with a bow and the panel attached to a folded kraft card. A White Gel Pen was used inside the closed letters of the quote. "Soar" was die cut from both black and white cardstock. The black piece was made shiny with black embossing powder. Both soars were attached together as shown and glued to the card.
