May Each Treasured Memory...

Hello Quietfire fans!  Betsy on the blog here today to share a comforting card.
Although we are at the start of the festive time of the year, these
types of cards will still be needed by many.  This is an easy one to make.

I used:

I love the sentiment on this stamp. I first cut my main panel from a Ciao Bella Paper
Collection - The Muse.  I then inked the edges with Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink.   Next I stamped my image in a black hybrid ink and then heat embossed it with Modern Gilding Powders
in Gothic Black.  I find I get a really crisp image using hybrid ink instead of embossing ink.
And the Modern Gilding Powders are just awesome!
I cut an A2 size top folding card panel and placed my inked background panel on it.  I
Then I adhered the stamped panel.  I added some nail heads to the corners and
that finished my card!

Sometimes the paper and the style of the sentiment really work well together.  I love how
this card panel looks like the stamped image was just penned!

I hope you enjoyed today's tutorial.  Simple, yet gets the message across when it's hard to come up with the words.
