Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm excited to share with you my Only from the Heart Card. I combined a variety of stamps, dies and Modern Gilding Powder, which were all perfect for creating this card. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Only from the Heart Card at home.
To start, die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Rectangle out of white cardstock. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Love Joy & Peace Christmas Ornament, die cut the ornament out of a piece of kraft cardstock.
Die cut a 2 1/4" Stitched Circle out of white cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Only from the Heart sentiment out of the Love & Hearts Collection stamp and stamp in the middle of the circle. Ink the edges of the circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Apply Emboss It Ink to the two small hearts from the Love & Hearts Collection stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Reapply ink to the hearts and stamp again two more times on the same piece of white cardstock. Sprinkle Gothic Black Modern Gilding Powder over the stamped hearts. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Colour the hearts in using your favourite colouring medium. Fussy cut all eight hearts out. Ink the edges of the hearts using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the stitched circle to the ornament. Foam square the ornament 1 1/4" from the bottom and all the way to the left hand side of the 3 1/2" rectangle.
Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the hearts as desired around the sentiment.
Cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 4 3/4" x 7", score at 3 1/2". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.
Here is the finished Only from the Heart Card.
