Falalalala Card

Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm excited to share with you my Falalalala Card. I combined a variety of dies and Modern Gilding Powder, which were all perfect for creating this Christmas card. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Falalalala Card at home.

To start, choose a couple of Christmas patterned papers. From one piece of patterned paper, die cut a 4" Stitched Rounded Rectangle. From the other piece of patterned paper, die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Rounded Rectangle. Distress the edges of both papers. Ink the edges of both papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From a third piece of coordinating Christmas patterned paper, die cut the Flourished Frame out of it.

Die cut the Falalalala die out of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the word. Sprinkle Gothic Black Modern Gilding Powder over the entire surface of the word. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Apply Emboss It Dabber to a piece of white cardstock. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powder over the white cardstock. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. From the Peace on Earth die, you'll need the stars. Die cut the stars out of the embossed paper. You'll need a total of three.

From the Flourished Holly, die cut all of the piece out of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Dabber to the skeleton holly leaf and the holly leaf bunch. Sprinkle Copper Scroll Modern Gilding Powder over the two pieces. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Forest Moss Distress Ink over the entire surface of the two holly leaves. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Fired Brick Distress Ink over the entire surface of the berries.

Adhere the Flourished Frame to the 4" stitched rounded rectangle. Foam square the 3 1/2" stitched rounded rectangle to the middle of the 4" stitched rounded rectangle.

Adhere the Falalalala word to the middle of the 3 1/2" stitched rounded rectangle. The bottom of the Falalalala word will sit 1/8" from the bottom of the 3 1/2" stitched rounded rectangle.

Adhere the Flourished Holly together. Foam square the Flourished Holly to the top of the Falalalala word.

Use foam squares to adhere the three stars as desired around the Falalalala word.

To finish the card, cut a piece of white cardstock that measures 5 1/4" x 8", score at 4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Here are a few closeups of the finished card.

Here is the finished Falalalala Card.
