Happy Anniversary - French Heritage Card and Scrap Book Page

Hello every one, Jutta here and for today's share I have a very special
anniversary card and scrap book page made using the
fantastic new French Heritage Kit and
the Happy Anniversary Stamp part of the
Happy Family Days Stamp Set from Quietfire Design.

I have to admit it was love at first sight for me when Suzanne
introduced her latest kit offer. I could barely contain my excitement as I
waited for the kit to arrive as I needed a card for my
parents upcoming 55th wedding anniversary. But then once I was on a roll
I decided to add a scrap book page into the offering.  Enjoy!

For my card I used the gorgeous 12 x 12 Fabscraps Peacock
cardstock from the  French Heritage Kit
This card measures 9 x 4 overall and fits a standard #10 envelope.

For my scrap book page I used a gorgeous Rose 12 x 12
Fabscraps cardstock from the  French Heritage Kit.

Card Instructions:
Start by cutting a pc of blue cardstock to 9" x 8" then score and fold in half for the card base.

Then cut several strips from the 12 x12 Fabscraps Peacock CS to 8-3/4 x 3-3/4 and use
corner rounder on upper right of base and upper right and lower left of Peacock CS.

Add ribbon to Peacock CS before attaching to base. Cut die cuts from Spellbinders Feathers  and Divine Eloquence Dies.

For the numbers I used the TH Alpha parts stickers, ran them through the Xyron sticker maker and covered with Olive/gold LSG embossing powder from the French Heritage Kit and heat embossed them. Attach to label. (Note the letters shrunk and deformed a bit but I'm okay with it as my project is shabby chic.)

The Feather die cuts are covered with a solid layer of Ranger Perfect Medium then added Olive, Rose and Gold LSG embossing powder randomly to get a multi-coloured effect and heat embossed.

Attach feathers to card then attach the label.

To complete outside of card outline some of the Peacock Feathers on the Cardstock with Sakura Clear Glitter Pen and attach Pearls.

Supply List:
Cardstock- Fabscraps from French Heritage Kit, and Stampin Up! Baja Breeze and Bashful Blue
Stamps- Happy Family Days Stamp Set
Dies- Spellbinders -Feathers and Divine Eloquence
Embossing Powder - Lindy's Stamp Gang from French Heritage Kit,

The Love We Give Away Card

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday, Terre here with a vintage card using Quietfire Designs amazing stamps. For this card I used "The Love We Give Away" stamp, I stamped the sentiment with Tsukinenko Memento Tuxedo Black ink and airbrushed some color on my Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Five die cut.

Did any of you happen to notice the "new" Spellbinders Adorning Labels Twenty-Five? OMG is all I can say, I love this die as Labels Twenty-Five is one of my all time favorites! I embellished the card with some Want2Scrap pearls and added some decorative pins with a May Arts Ribbon bow. This beautiful paper pad is Prima Almanac and you are in luck you can find it right here at Quietfire Designs. Thank you for stopping by my blog post, happy crafting, Terre

CAS - Perfect Pearls - Xmas Cards

hi there, Yogi here today with a couple CAS cards for Xmas...

PS the card below shows the Perfect Pearls background to better advantage...

Both cards start of with a side folded 5.5" x 4.25" white cardstock. I taped off a 1/2" border all around (ps if you're doing multiples, just make yourself a stencil for the border from thin cardstock or clear plastic).
Stamped the Textured Holiday Word stamp repeatedly using Versamark (can use Perfect Medium or Distress Emboss pad as well). While the ink was wet, dusted on Perfect Pearls (Perfect Gold, Rust, Forever Green). Wiped off the excess with a dry paper towel. Removed my tape and drew a border around my stamping. Red Zig marker on one and a Faber Castell Artist Pen "Copper " for the other.

On the first card I stamped the tree/deer image (Memory Box) with Versafine Black Onyx.

On the card at right I stamped the Holly leaf flourish with Versafine "Spanish Moss" and embossed with "Queen's Gold" and some "Olive Leaf" embossing powder.

To create the raised leaves, I stamped them again in black, scanned them, and cut with my electronic cutter, then applied some of the Moss and embossed with the same powders. (PS if you don't have an electronic cutter, you could just hand cut them.

I adhered them to the card so the leaves were raised, (see detail pic below) and added a large red rhinestone.

The sentiment was stamped with the Black and clear embossed.

Hope you give it a try if you're looking for something quick and easy. The Perfect Pearls give such a nice background.

I wouldn't have missed being your friend - Card

Hi everyone, Teresa here again as a Guest Designer for Quietfire Design to share another card that I made, perfect for friends.

I'm excited to announce that I have been invited to be a member of the Quietfire Design team, so you'll be seeing a lot more of me here!

 I used
the Gentle Thoughts stamp #5958 for my card .

I love this stamp because it is the perfect sentiment to
use for all kinds of projects that you would make to give
to all the friends that you have in your life.  Today I have
a simple card to share that is quick and easy to do.

For my card I used My Minds Eye Paris & Co 6x6 pad
and also used S5-177 A2 Filigree Delight to cut and
emboss the background with ivory cardstock.  To create
the place for the sentiment I used S4-310 Labels Eighteen
and cut them out of brown and blue papers.
To stamp my sentiment I wanted a dark brown to match
the papers so I used Ranger Archival Ink in Coffee
and embossed it with clear powder to make it pop.

To finish it I made a bow with twine and added some
pretty wooden leaves and a couple of flowers.

I hope you like it and be sure and check out my blog
for more ideas with Quietfire stamps and Spellbinders dies!
