The Love We Give Away Mixed Media Card

Hello!!!  I hope you are doing well.  Today I have a fun card to share with you.

I cut a stencil from heavy cardstock using the digital cut file, Hearts Background.  I'll use this "cardstock" stencil as much as I can and then I'll cut it up to use in projects.  Fun!!!

Onto a piece of watercolor paper cut to 4 1/4" x 6" I added Texture Paste Opaque Matte through the stencil.  After removing the stencil from the watercolor paper I scraped all excess paste off the cardstock stencil and then just left it to dry.

After allowing the paste to dry completely on my watercolor panel, I added color by dripping on Bubblegum Pink Dylusions Ink Spray and then spraying with water tipping my paper to allow the color to run both up and down and also using my finger to dab color around.  Later I also splattered Bubblegum Pink (no water added) over the panel.

I die cut the heart, Calligraphic Elements 1, from white cardstock.  I made a cut along the right inside edge of the heart so I could pass my stamped vellum piece through the heart.

I then embossed the heart using embossing ink and Mixed Media Powder, Punch.

Love, from the Baby Love set, was also cut from white cardstock and then embossed with Queen's Gold embossing powder.

I also embossed the edges of the next layer with the Queen's Gold powder.

I attached the watercolor panel to the Queen's Gold embossed panel.  The quote, The love we give away, was stamped onto vellum with Archival Ink Jet Black, dried, and the vellum torn as shown.  I put the vellum piece through the heart as shown, wrapped the ends of the vellum strip to the back and taped them down.  I added glue under some of the heart to help hold things in place.

Love was glued on as shown.  The panels were attached to a folded pink card.  Nuvo Glitter Drops, Honey Gold, were added as shown.

I hope you like today's card!!!  It was really fun and easy to make.  If you have time, leave me a comment.  Thanks for following along!!!

Blog Hop! The Love We Give Away & Scrapbook Adhesives E-Z Runner

Terre here and welcome to our blog hop with Scrapbook Adhesives, makers of quality and creative adhesives! Thanks for dropping by today to see all the amazing creativity.
Here is my project  using  Quietfire Design "The Love We Give Away" stamp and Scrapbook Adhesives E-Z Runner, Mounting Squares and Adhesive Sheets!
Here is a photo of all the products I used to create this card.

First I took the Scrapbook Adhesives E-Z Runner and adhered the G45 pattern paper to my card front.

Then I stamped the Quietfire Design sentiment The Love We Give Away onto white cardstock and die cut it out using Spellbinders Label Twenty-Five.

Then I took my pattern paper and one of the Scrapbook Adhesives Sheets and adhered it to the wrong side of the pattern paper. I die cut the pattern paper out of the Adhesive Sheet.

Peel the adhesive sheet off the back of the pattern paper and adhere it to the front of the Want2Scrap Labels Twenty-Five Nestaboard.

Assemble the layers and adhere to the card front using the Scrapbook Adhesives Mounting Squares.

To finish the card, I added some Want2Scrap Labels Twenty-Five Nestabling, Lavender Bling and some small flowers surrounded by Spellbinders Foliage die templates.
I hope you have enjoyed my project for this amazing blog hop and good luck winning a prize. Crafty Smiles, Terre

Blog Hop! Bunny Easel Card & 3D Foam Easter Shapes

Hi Y'all!
Robyn here, welcoming you to day 3 of our blog hop with Scrapbook Adhesives, makers of quality and creative adhesives!  Thanks for dropping by!
Terre is also sharing today and if this is your first visit, go back and see the inspiration you missed Monday and Tuesday.
Special thanks to the fine folks at Scrapbook Adhesives for all the fab products and for coming out to play with us at Quietfire.
Here is my project.
Products used:

Begin with your cut files.
You can never have too many bunnies!

I love how this, above, turns into...

...this below! with just the touch of a mouse!

The Bunny Easel Card is an instant project
You could send it just as is, with some kind words, or begin embellishing!
Add some color with Distress Inks and Markers.

Use a mask when you color your carrot.

Create your background with the flourish stamp and more Distress Inks.
Stamp the sentiment in VersaFine Imperial Purple and thermal emboss clear.
The tail and tie are Red Heart yarn, adhered with Dotz.
The bit of pink flocking is glued with the E-Z mini dots, overlapping.
The Sentiment bunny gets some dimension from the 3-D Dotz. I love that they are clear, so you don't see them from the side.

The Easter Foam Dots are fun!
First remove the cover sheet of the negative space and put a little powder on it.
Then remove  the cover sheets on the letters and burnish the glitter into the foam.
I mixed two colors and added a few drops of alcohol ink to get the shade I wanted.

Use the cover sheet to make some marks for easy placement of the letters.
The E-Z mini dots are great for gluing small bits, like the grass.

Here is a side view.
There is lots of room for words of love inside, and you could add more carrots!
A few drops of liquid pearls accent the letters.

The Love We Give Away Card

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday, Terre here with a vintage card using Quietfire Designs amazing stamps. For this card I used "The Love We Give Away" stamp, I stamped the sentiment with Tsukinenko Memento Tuxedo Black ink and airbrushed some color on my Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Five die cut.

Did any of you happen to notice the "new" Spellbinders Adorning Labels Twenty-Five? OMG is all I can say, I love this die as Labels Twenty-Five is one of my all time favorites! I embellished the card with some Want2Scrap pearls and added some decorative pins with a May Arts Ribbon bow. This beautiful paper pad is Prima Almanac and you are in luck you can find it right here at Quietfire Designs. Thank you for stopping by my blog post, happy crafting, Terre
