"I love that you will Always be my friend" card

Hello Crafty Friends!  Kathy Jo here sharing a friend card using a gorgeous stamp from Quietfire Design's Always be my friend stamp set:
Always Be My Friend, Set of 3 Stamps - Mounted
The sentiment was stamped on white card stock using Jet Black Archival Ink.  After drying it was die cut using Spellbinders' Labels 50 Decorative Elements.  Gold card stock was die cut using the largest die in the same set.  Peeled Paint Distress Ink was tapped onto a silicone craft sheet.  A water brush was used with the ink to color the leaves on the innermost die.
Peeled Paint Distress Ink was applied to the inside of Spellbinders' Imperial M-Bossabilities folder and spritzed lightly with water.  (Ink was applied more heavily to the bottom section of the folder to create an ombre effect.)  Watercolor paper was spritzed lightly on one side and embossed using the inked Imperial folder.  Gold card was cut to 4.25" x 5.5" and adhered to a white tent fold 4.25" x 5.5" card.  The embossed watercolor paper was mounted to the card base as were the die cuts.
For the finishing touch, a triple seam binding bow was added with a wee green twine bow.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a happy, crafty day.
Big Hugs,
Kathy Jo

Thanks Card

Hello Everyone, Terre here in sunny and bright Arizona! I thought today I would share a quick and easy card using one of Quietfire Design new stamp Thanks Cuddlers. This stamp set has 7 sentiments that you could stamp right under the word Thanks. For this card I just chose to use the simple work, Thanks!

I also used a 3D Em-Bossing Folder Floral Labels Four from Spellbinders. I used a piece of Jewel tone foil and embossed the folder then sanded it to give that two toned look. Added some Want2Scrap Rhinestones to embellish. I die cut the Labels Four die out of white cardstock then stamped my  Quietfire Design new stamp Thanks Cuddlers in the center with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black in. I secured all of this using Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry,

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy card, don't forget this amazing stamp set has several sentiments that can be stamped right under the word Thanks! Crafty Smiles, Terre

You Never Know How Strong You Are!

Good morning!  Sherry here today and I have a very clean and somewhat simple card to share with you using Quietfire Design You Never Know How Strong You Are (which now comes cling mounted).

I used watercolor paper for the background, misting it with water and embossing with 3D embossing folder, Tiger Lilies.  I love the detail achieved when embossing watercolor paper when it’s damp.  When dry, the embossing holds and doesn’t flatten out if you need to trim the edges or anything.

The sentiment was stamped in gray ink and then die cut/embossed with ovals.  I used a gray cardstock along with the watercolor paper and added a sea foam grosgrain ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by and joining me today!

CHRISTMAS WAVES A MAGIC WAND- CARD

Hi Everyone! Holly here, and it's that time again, to be making our Christmas cards.

I have one technique to share, embossed and antiqued foil tape. Another quick and easy way to add a little something to your cards.

Strips of foil tape were attached to strips of black cardstock, then embossed using Spellbinders
M-Bossibilities RUSTIC WREATH. Black acrylic paint was brushed all over the foil, then most of it was wiped away, leaving some paint in the recessed areas.
Once dry, the foil pieces were cut down to size and attached to the card.
CHRISTMAS WAVES A MAGIC WAND was my stamp of choice for this card. I also used a FLOURISH stamp, and added sponging to the edges.

This card was stamped with A SMILE IS THE BEST CHRISTMAS DECORATION and the holly stamp from HAVE A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS.
Some sponging around the edges, a little strip of foil with a Sharpie coloured rhinestone, completes this card. My go to inks are Jet Black ARCHIVAL INK for the quote stamps and DISTRESS INKS for sponging and colour.

I hope you'll give this a try, and have fun!
Thanks for stopping in today!

Love Does Not Consist of Gazing At Each Other Card

Hello Everyone, Terre here with a quick and easy card using Quietfire Design stamps. I don't know about you but between the holidays and fighting a horrible cold, I needed to find a simple solution to a beautiful card.... So using "Love Does Not Consist of Gazing At Each Other" stamp and Spellbinders 3D Embossing Folder and Label Four as it matches this folder, I created a beautiful card.

Using my Tsukineko VersaFine Olympia Green, VersaMagic Spring Peony, Pretty Petunia and Concord Grape ink I blended the colors over the embossed areas then added DecoArts Metallic Lustre Champaigne Ice to high lite the florals.

Thanks for stopping by my post today and I wish you all a Happy New Years, Crafty Smiles, Terre
