Love, Love, Love You Forever Valentines!!!!

Oh how I love Valetines Day!!  I love all the "lovin" going on.  I love pink, hearts and just "lovin" on people!!!

Making Valentines Day cards kind of comes pretty easy to me.  Quietfire Designs new release, Calligraphic Love Bits made the card I had in mind perfect!!  The smaller sentiments fit exactly where I wanted on this smaller card or what could be a gift tag.

The card from was created using Spellbinders Nested Heart die.  I cut the die with a die cutting machine and then dry embossed the shape using a rubber mat and a die cutting machine.

While the patterned paper was still in the die, I rubbed Ranger Distress Ink Walnut Stain over the die (that was acting like a stencil) onto the paper.    I then stamped the "love you forever" sentiment with brown pigment ink and heat embossed detail clear embossing powder.

Onto the another piece of patterned paper,  I traced around the nesting die again and cut it out by hand to it was just a bit bigger than the die cut.  Using adhesive dimensional I adhered the card front to the card back.

With a two inch piece of kraft card stock, I scored a 1/2 inch edge to adhere to the back of my card panel to create a sentiment panel.  I stamped the smaller fun little sentiments and beautiful heart to the inside.

Home-Congratulations

 Robyn here, and where ever you are, whatever you are doing, Congratulations! You deserve it!

Here are two quick cards highlighting the new Home-Congratulations set by Quietfire Design.

I shaped the card using Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles and cut out one of the small tags to hold a gift card made from Decorative Labels One.
I left the card stock in the dies while I added Distress Lilac and China, and that held the crisp white edge.
Th quotes are stamped in Versafine Deep Lagoon and thermal embossed clear.
Just a touch of gold around the outer edges gives it a finished look.

The flourished home stamp and Congratulations created the background.

Be Not forgetful is a re -sized oldie and goody!

The background I got at a GNO at my LSS. We all brought some of our fav stamps, lots of card stock and ink and stamped away. There was also lots of food and chocolate! We had tons of fun and I'm amazed at how often I am using these pre stamped panels. Thanks girls of ASAP!

Mothers Hold Their Children's Hands...

Robyn here, and I butted in the Design Team line I was so excited to share with y'all.

The new stamps have jump started my creativity and a GirlsNightOut  with all the amazing ladies at my LocalStampShop nudged me into this quilling technique.















The stamp is inked with VersaFine Sepia and thermal embossed clear, and colorized with Distress Tumbled Glass and Antique Linen.

The frame is created with stash, a vintage doily and scraps of handmade paper, all held in place with a frame constructed from Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangle.

I Will Honour Christmas Card



Hello everyone, Terre here with another crafty creation using Quietfire Designs amazing stamps. For my project today I chose to use the stamp called "I Will Honour Christmas", this sentiment just fills my heart with joy!



Next thing you notice is the Spellbinders Nestabilities, Resplendent Rectangles (Majestic Elements) and Spellbinders Shapeabilities, Layered Poinsettia Creations

 

I used a stipple brush and a blush colored stamp pad to ink up the outer edges of the die cut and the poinsettia, this gave the card a soft yet colorful look. Add some crushed glass flakes to the poinsettia and stamp your I Will Honour Christmas sentiment in the center of the die cut and there you have it a beautiful Christmas card that looks like it took hours to create. If you would like to recreate this simple and elegant card just follow the links to Quietfire Designs, they are all there! Every blade in the field Card

Hi Y'all, Monica here today.  The inspiration for this card came from my garden.  While picking fallen oak leaves out of a Laceleaf Japanese Maple I started really paying attention to its beautiful colors and the delicacy of the leaves.  Then I started thinking they'd make good masks.  Ah, ha!  Time to play with the Dylusion sprays I got a little while ago.

 
This was a very quick card.  Arrange the leaves on a piece of cardstock, spritz with water, spritz with Dylusion Ink Spray (Bubblegum Pink), spritz with water, lightly spritz around edges with Crushed Grape, spritz with water.  Remove leaves and dry papers.  I used an old iron instead of a heat gun.  Be sure to look at both sides of your paper as you'll get various looks on each sample.  The quote layer is actually the reverse side of one of my first attempts.

Stamp Every blade in the field quote on background using Archival Jet Black ink.  Cut and emboss with Spellbinders Respendent Rectangles.  Create a 6x6" base card.  Cut another layer of background and use corner rounder.  Use Brilliance Dew Drops inkpad, Pearlescent Purple, to edge all layers, paying particular attention to the border of the quote layer.  The small size and pointed tip of the Brilliance Dew Drops are perfect for jobs like this.  Assemble with Be Creative tape and Pop-Dots.

Ideally this card would have been yellow, orange, red and a hint of green but those colors are on my Wish List for now, lol.
