THANK YOU - MOSAIC - CARD

Hi Everyone! This is Holly, here today with an easy card to help build your stash.
First, I made  my background stamp by die-cutting craft foam with the Floral Square Die
and attaching it to a scrap of clear plastic packaging with double-sided tape. This helps it keep its shape and cling to my acrylic block, which has Tack 'n Peel on one side. *note* after sticking the foam to the double-sided tape, I brush baby powder all around the exposed tape. Cornstarch would work too. This prevents 'everything' from sticking to the stamp.

I stamped white cardstock with the new stamp and shabby shutters Distress Ink and sponged around the edges. On scraps of white cardstock, I stamped Mosaic twice with Jet Black Archival Ink and once dry, sponged Broken China Distress Ink to completely cover, then cut out the squares. I stamped Thanks with the same black ink, trimmed the cardstock down and sponged the edges with Broken China Distress Ink.
I matted the background and 'thanks' with black cardstock, and die-cut blue scraps of cardstock with the same floral square die. The background was adhered to the blue card base, then 'thanks' was attached with foam tape. Then, the mosaic squares and floral pieces were attached.
The last step was to apply dots of Lumiere Paint to the mosaic squares and the letters.
It sounds like a lot of steps but it really is an easy card. Plus, you add a background stamp to your collection. I hope you try it.

Thank you for looking today!
