Hello!!  I've created a card just right for Autumn using one of the gorgeous Quietfire calligraphy stamps from the Give Thanks Set.  It's stamped onto a panel that's been brayered with Distress Oxide Inks and die cut with a Stitched Rectangles cutting die.  In the background I've smooshed some regular Distress Inks and then stenciled with Oxide Ink using the wonderful leaves on the Leaf and Snowflake Spray stencil.

Everything is held together with either E-Z Dots Permanent Adhesive Dots or 3D Foam Squares.  I've also used the small 3D Foam Squares as an embellishment on the quote panel by covering them with Distress Glitter Dust Vintage Platinum.  A line of the Adhesive Dots along the bottom covered with foil give another touch of bling.

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Blog Hop - Day 3

Hello everyone! Welcome back!  It's Day 3 of the Quietfire - Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog Hop and Giveaway!  Yes!  There's even more today! How lucky can we get?  Make sure you enter to win the prizes - read on to the end of the post for details! Make sure you enter on both blogs because they're separate giveaways!

Our Teresa always creates the most elegant cards and this is no exception! She is our Victorian Paper Queen.

Hi everyone-- it's day 3 of our blog hop and giveaway with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  It's my turn today to share one of my favorite new stamps with Quietfire Design stamps called "May we all walk".  With all the things going on the world today I think this is a perfect sentiment to share with everyone.

For my card I went with a simple layering technique overlapping different colors and layers of dies that coordinated with my flowers i picked.  I used lots of 3D Foam Squares to divide the layers and attach the flowers and a few small adhesive Dodz to attach the ribbon.  And of course to glue all the layers together i used my favorite EZ Runner Permanent Strip tape runner that i couldn't live without.  It's my absolute favorite.

And here is a closeup of the stamp and all the pretty layers I did with the foam dots.

Robyn loves digital cutting so it's no surprise she chose one of the Quietfire Cutting files available on the Silhouette America Design Store. (Did you know you can purchase svg files from Silhouette now?  They are usable on other machines besides those made by Silhouette!  Sweet!) She has combined the lantern with a new stamp perfect for the season!

Hi Y'all, Robyn here grateful to be gluing my fav designers and manufacturers together. Quietfire Design digital files, stamps, stencils and dies all come together to enable you to create with out limits with a little help from our good friends at Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

  4. Apply Scrapbook Adhesives Permanent dots to all the tabs except the top flap. Assemble and take your time aligning, as once you press in to place its permanent!

  6. Admire!

To create the ATC

  1. Stamp acanthus background on Neenah Classic Crest White 110lb in Delicata gold.
  2. Stamp the quote in Versafine Onyx Black and thermal embosse clear and queens gold.
  3. Cut thin strips of Scrapbook Adhesives sheets and apply to  the border or the card.

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Blog Hop - Day 2

Hello everyone! Welcome back!  It's Day 2 of the Quietfire - Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog Hop and Giveaway!  Are you all tuned up for more goodness?  Excellent!  Make sure you enter to win the prizes - read on to the end of the post for details!

Our first card today is from Diana, our Queen of CAS!  She makes the most elegant cards where the message just pops out.

Hi, everyone!  It's Diana here today to share with you my card for this hop.  I made a Christmas card with some very classic colors and papers - they were a  perfect backdrop to this beautifully lettered Christmas quote by Suzanne.

I started by stamping in black Versafine ink on a sheet from K and Company EB Visions of Christmas paper and embossing over the black ink in clear.  I then die cut the quote out with Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles.  I use the Scrapbook Adhesive foam squares to pop up the layer.  The matting layers were also from the same paper stack.

What's a Christmas card without some gold?  I added some gold foiling by cutting up strips of Scrapbook Adhesive Sheets and burnishing the gold foil sheet (from the 3D Foam Christmas Shapes kit) over them.  I love the subtle look of it.    I added a bow with some garnet seam binding.

Connie is our scrapbooker and has created this sweet fun page to inspire and make us smile!

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a scrapbook layout featuring some fussy cut patterned paper and lots of dimension from 3D foam adhesive.

The patterned paper is a leftover sheet from a line called ‘Where the Wild Things Are” and although the theme didn’t really go with the enlarged photograph I wanted to scrapbook, the colours were perfect!!   So all I need was fussy cut bits of the leaves from a sheet of the patterned paper and tucked them under the photo.  To make the layout really pop, I used 3D foam squares, both small and large to pop up some of the leaves, as well as the monsters and the stamped ‘We do not remember days’ quote.

For the title, I die cut Friends from a piece of white cardstock and  adhered it to the photo by rolling up small Dodz adhesive dots and applying them to the back of the die cut.  This is a very non-messy way of adhering a detailed die cut which also gives a little bit of dimension.

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Blog Hop Day 1

We're so lucky to be playing along this week with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®!  We're going to have lots of inspiration from two whole design teams and the goodness will continue all week.  Make sure you enter to win the prizes - read on to the end of the post for details!

We'll start with our Yogi who is the Queen of Easel Cards. The great thing about easel cards is you can see the inside and outside of the card at the same time.

I'm using an A Way With Words dies "Brrrr" and sentiment and quote stamps from Quietfire Design. ("A Whisper on My Nose..."); ("Let It Snow Snowman" 5pce set)

Scored, folded my deep blue cardstock to create the easel. Cut another piece same size as card and adhered to front using the EZ Runner Permanent Adhesive.

I raided my stash of Oxide backgrounds I made a while back... Trimmed down and adhered to front offset.

Die cut some snowflake borders (Memory Box "Frosty Border") from white cardstock. Inked with Versamark and embossed with Emerald Creek "Soft Fallen Snow". Pieced 2 together and adhered to left edge.

Adhered three adhesive backed foam snowflakes (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L "3D Foam Holiday Embellishment Kit"). Removed the release liner from the front and sprinkled with Stickles dry glitter "Diamond".

Stamped the quote using Versafine "Majestic Blue" and embossing with Emerald Creek "Blue Sparkle" embossing powder.

On the floor: stamped the various items using Distress Picket Fence and embossing with white embossing powder.

Painted the snow angel with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl Color paints

Die cut the "Brrr" from DoCrafts Silver mirror cardstock.

Cut, scored and adhered the die cut word and then adhered it to the floor to act as my stopper.

It seems Monday is blue day!  Kathy Jo has also used winter blues and snowflakes for her project.

Hello Crafty Friends!  Welcome to Day 1 of the Quietfire Design and ScrapbookAdhesives by 3L Blog Hop!  This is Kathy Jo from the Quietfire Design Team and I am happy to help kick start this Blog Hop...so let's get crafting...

With Christmas quickly approaching, I decided to create a shimmery snowflake card.  The card's gorgeous and sweet sentiment is QuietfireDesign's Good Friends are Like Snowflakes stamp.  It was stamped on white card stock and cut to size.  A circle die cut was placed on top of the sentiment and blue ink applied.  It was mounted using 3D FoamSquares onto the card front.

Next, the happy snowflakes from the 3D FoamHoliday Embellishments Kit were applied.  The blue foil from the same kit was adhered to the top (how easy!) and gems added.

The card came together in a flash and was too fun to make.  Also, the card is perfect to give away at Christmas and the recipient can keep it on display well into the new year.
