Hello! My name is Tammy Tutterow and I am so thrilled to be a guest here on the Quietfire blog! I live just outside of St. Louis in Illinois. I have been a designer in the papercrafts industry for about 9 years. I fell in love with inking and stamping about 4 years ago and now can't seem to do a project with out some stamping or inking on it! It is such an honor to be a guest here and get to work with Suzanne's wonderful hand lettered stamp designs.

Today I want to share a card I created featuring the Garden Delights stamp set. Using this set ended up being difficult... because the phrases were all so wonderful, I wanted to use them all! To create my card, I cut a piece of 10" x 6" manila cardstock. I folded it 4" and 8" to create a tri-fold card. I tore the edge of the small flap. I applied Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass, and Bundled Sage Distress Inks to both sides of the card. I brushed the edges and folds of both sides with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I tore a 2" x 9 1/2" strip of vellum. I adhered the vellum band around the outside of the card so that it wrapped around the front, back, and onto the flap. I stamped my sentiment on the front of the vellum so that it was on the center left front of the card. I accented the script with Peeled Paint Distress Ink applied with a waterbrush. The color helped make the sentiment pop out. I embellished the flap of the card with a small bundle of vintage millinery pieces tied together with a bit of vintage ribbon. I stamped a few random bees on the front of the card as well.

I covered the inside back of the card with a piece of handmade paper by Adorn It. I added a bit of ink to it to tied it in with the rest of the card. I added a few more bees to tie the inside design to the front (and because those little bees are crazy cute!!). Thank you so much for joining me today! I will be back again later in the month with some other projects to share with you featuring more Quietfire stamps!
