I'm loving these newest eCut designs and quote stamp sets from Suzanne.
I'm using two eCut files (Step Card) & (Sunflower) created by Quietfire Design and can be found on the Silhouette OnLine store. And the butterfly is from a previous eCut project using the Butterfly Circle Frame.
I'm also using one of the newest quotes from Quietfire Design "Always Be My Friend" 3 pce set.
I eCut the step card, enlarging it to approx 7"w x 10"h on the mat from white cardstock, scored and folded.
Masked off the two small panels using post it notes. Inked up my text stamp (Local King Rubber "Happiness") using Distress mini pads "Mustard Seed" all over, then some "Dried Marigold", "Spiced Marmalade" & "Picked Raspberry". Misted the stamp with water and pressed down on my card, leaving the stamp there for a minute to activate the water and ink.
Direct to paper using Distress "Antique Linen" all over a piece of white cardstock as large as the front of my card. Used a Spellbinders mBossibilities folder "Wood Grain", repeating the embossing till the whole piece of cardstock was embossed, then hit the high points, again direct to paper, with "Frayed Burlap" & "Vintage Photo". Trimmed down to fit front and adhered with Sookwang tape.
eCut the sunflower elements, coloring the flower and word while on my mat with "Mustard Seed", removing the word and clear embossing it. I also cut a silhouette/shadow piece for the word and painted it with Distress acrylic dauber "Black Soot". Adhered both word elements together then onto card front. Removed the flower pieces, colored the stem/leaves with greens, curled the petals on the side of a pencil and adhered together. Colored the center of the flower with some brown, applied a bunch of white glue and pressed brown flocking, then adhered the flower to the card.
Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx on white cardstock. Clear embossed. Die cut with Spellbinders "Beaded Ovals" die set, sponged mustard see around the edges and removed from die. Added some amber oval rhinestones. Adhered to card front and added the butterfly (left over piece from a previous "Butterfly Circle" project).
As a final touch, tied a bright yellow narrow ribbon bow around the flower stem.
