Hello! Today I'm bringing you some more spring because there is plenty of winter outside. And truly, I use any excuse to use butterflies. This time I stamped up this sentiment from the Butterfly Circles, May the Wings with a Kaleidoscope ink pad. It's an old pad someone gave me a while back but it's still in great inky condition and I love it that the different pads slide together for inking and away for storage. After stamping, I die-cut out my quote using Spellbinders Labels Two and sponged the edges while still in the frame with a bit of green ink.
Taking my cue from the different colors in the sentiment, I added Poppystamps Cheviot and Delaney butterflies and a floral spray with Wild Orchid Flowers and the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish. The solid bottom layer of the butterfly was sponged with Distress Stains Tumbled Glass and Seedless Preserves. I also used the Tumbled Glass to sponge the edges of my base layer.
Thank you so much for looking and I hope you are staying warm and safe!
