Hello Crafty Friends!
It is baby month at Quietfire Design. This month the Design Team will share baby projects using Quietfire Design stamps, dies, stencils and digital files. Be sure to pop in every day to see all of the baby inspiration!
My baby project is a sweet boy baby card using the heartwarming stamp: The Moment a Child is Born.
To make the sentiment pop on the card front, it is best to use a black ink. It does not take away from the sweetness of the card front with all of the baby blues but it does accentuate the lovely quote.
The card can be assembled quickly with simple layers and embellishments. A wee bow with coordinating button is a cute addition to the card front. A doily behind the sentiment adds some frill and beauty.

The moment a child is born....
Hello everyone,
Yvonne here with a cute baby card.
Being such a wonderful and loving Quietfire Design quote the stamp "The Moment a Child is Born"is, I could not resist making a cute baby card with it.
And of course perfectly to be combined with the Quietfire Design - A Way with Stencils - Heart and Paw prints.
To make the card:
- stencil the hearts onto some white cardstock using an ink blending tool and pink (chalk) ink.
- dab some pink ink onto the bottom of the card as well.
- Stamp the Quietfire sentiment stamp using black ink.
- die-cut the pram and the bunny and adhere using 3D foam squares.
- embellish with liquid pearls, pearls and rhinestones.
- Mat upon blue cardstock and then upon a white card base.
Used materials:
- Quietfire Design: The Moment a Child is Born #6320 - stamp, A Way With Stencils: Heart and Paw prints #9501-023
- Acryllic stamp block
- Die-templates (Spellbinders)
- Inkpads: white, pink, black
- Cardstock: white, blue, pink, silver, patterned
- Liquid pearls, self-adhesive pearls and rhinestones
- 3D foam squares, glue
I hope you like the card.
Thanks for stopping by and wishing you happy crafting!
Hugs from Holland,
