The wreath may look intimidating or time consuming but after you do one you easily get into a wreath making groove and you end up wanting to make several!
Instructions:
Create
5 1/2” square tent fold card with white card stock. Cut red card
stock to 5 1/8” square. Next, cut a piece of wood grain paper (I used My Mind's Eye) to 5” square.
Mount to card front. Stamp
sentiment onto vellum paper with black pigment ink and heat emboss.
Die cut using Spellbinders' Circle die.
Now is the inky part! Randomly
ink green card stock using Distress ink in Forest Moss and Vintage Photo. Dry. Punch
out wreath branches. (There are many branch die cutting options available and I used Martha Stewart's branch punch.)
Apply
glue only to the perimeter of the bottom of the die cut sentiment and
mount to card front. Apply glue to the perimeter of the top of the
die cut sentiment and layer branches as shown. (I found it was easiest to start at the bottom of the wreath and stack the branches clockwise.)
Create
bow and glue to bottom of the wreath.
You can make the wreath as thick or thin as you would like. My wreaths consisted of many branches so I ended up using one 8.5 x 11 paper for two cards with some scrap left over.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
OH!!! And don't forget to check out Quietfire's Super Amazing Awesome sale!!! (That is not the actual name of the sale but it should be!)
