Hope is the thing with feathers

Hello! I've finally got a chance to sit down and ink up this new stamp from Quietfire Design.  And then I didn't know what to do with it... does that ever happen to you?  I finally decided I should add some feathers - which wasn't much of an inspiration since the word feathers is *right there* but that's just the way it goes sometimes.  

I finally did decide on this CAS design where I die-cut two of the large feathers from Spellbinders in gold and silver foil craft sheet.  I love how the embossing is just so deep on the foil  I did some in-laid die-cutting except I left of the right portion of the card.  It doesn't leave much room for writing inside but it was a good trade for the curved outside edge.

The quote was stamped in Memento Luxe Nautical Blue pigment ink and then clear embossed.
