Yogi here today with a "Butterfly Stars Spray" stencil card and my favorite card structure - an easel card... Since this is a sympathy card I wanted to keep it as simple as possible...
I'm also using an Elizabeth Craft Designs A Way With Words die "With Sympathy" and the Star stencil also available on Quietfire Design HERE and HERE
Scored and folded my deep blue cardstock to create the easel, cutting another piece the same size as card for the front.
On dark blue cardstock stenciled the stars spray using Versamark stamp pad and embossing both sprays with Emerald Creek embossing powder one with "Iridescent Shimmer" and the other one with "Silver Satin Pearl".
Stamped the quote with Distress Picket Fence and embossed with white embossing powder.
Added a few white Rhinestone stars
On the floor: die cut the words from a dark blue and a white cardstock. Adhered both together off set, then onto the floor.
Cut some stars, adding a piece of double sided adhesive, then sprinkled with Stickles dry glitter "Star Dust". Adhered a couple to the floor to act as my stopper.

Lovely! I have a sympathy card to make so, if you don't mind, I may just 'steal' some inspiration from you. TFS.
I love easel cards and yours is gorgeous. the design of the card goes so well with the sentiment and verse. and so appropriate for this weekend, memorial day.
Love the thought of stars being an opening to heaven, Thanks for sharing.
Love the shine and sparkle on this card!
Lovely easel sympathy card. I like the different embossing powders you used for the stars.

This is one of my favourite stamps to use when sending a sympathy card. I love your idea of doing it as an easel card. CarmenG.
Lovely card! When I first saw it, the colors and stars, my mind immediately visualized it as a grad card, replacing the sympathy with congratulations and an appropriate sentiment.
The quote is amazing and the Stencil is so appropriate. The colours are attracting... with the darker colour framed with the lighter colour. Great job on a great card.
What a lovely sympathy card! I particularly like the arc of stars!
Beautiful card. Love thar stencil and stamp together!
Beautiful sympathy card. Love the stars and sentiment.
One of my favorite sentiments, and you've used it beautifully with the starry spray. The embossing is beautiful against the dark background.
This is such a comforting sympathy card and also beautiful. I love the easel type card. The stencil goes perfectly with the longer sentiment. I also love how you offset the sympathy sentiment. The use of different colored embossing powders also adds to the card!
Terrific easel card, Yogi. I bet it is so sparkly in real life. Perfect marriage of stencil and stamp!
I have this saying stamp. A new idea to try!
Lovely card! The sentiment is beautiful! Love the stars!
Very thoughtful sentiment! Really nice card design too!
Love your card, and I have always loved that sentiment. Very comforting. Great easel card!
Lovely card, lovely sentiment.
I have rarely made a sympathy card that does not begin with the use of this stamp. It works beautifully, regardless of the recipient's religious beliefs, whether I have known the person well or only as an acquaintance, or if I need a quick card or an elaborate card. Finding an appropriate accompanying vision of stars is something I often struggle with. No more! Yogi, you have become my creative muse today-- Thank you!
Unfortunately , I have to make way too many sympathy cards. Thank you for showing us a unique way to do that. Beautiful and very thoughtful!
Such a nice sympathy card.

Beautiful, love how you used the stencil multiple times to frame the sentiment.
I never thought of using stars for a sympathy card - yet you have made it all come together with hope for the grieving, and a card that is not just tucked away but can be displayed for hope and comfort. Thank you!
What a comforting card for a family who lost a loved one. Beautiful!
A lovely sympathy card. Too bad that we need those sometimes.
Wonderful card!
What a lovely sympathy card. The sentiment is perfect.
I would have NEVER thought to use stars for a sympathy card. This is a great idea (and like most of us, HATE making sympathy cards)
This is beautiful! Love the dark cardstock for the sympathy feel. But the stars in heaven are just so reassuring! These sentiments are gorgeous!
