Baby It's Cold Outside with Oxide Inks

It's Wanda here today hoping you are doing well.  I have a cold card to share with you that uses stamps from the new Merry Christmas collection of Clear Stamps.

On a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" white cardstock make lines of Distress Oxide Ink Wilted Violet by rubbing the edge of the pad directly onto the cardstock.  We are not tring to fill the paper.

Add more lines with Distress Oxide Salty Ocean trying to work mostly between the violet lines but also allowing some overlap.

Dry the ink while also dripping water using the Distress Sprayer.

Stamp "baby it's cold outside" with Archival Ink Jet Black using a Stamp Platform.  I stamped it about 4 times to get a nice dark image on top of the Oxides.  Stamp both sizes of the solid snowflake with Versamark Ink and emboss them with Wow Opaque Bright White Superfine Powder.  Ink the edges of the panel with Versamark and emboss with Ranger's Snowflake Tinsel Powder.

Cut the dimensional snowflake (Elizabeth Craft Designs - Ornate Snowflakes Set) from Silver Shimmer Sheetz.  Emboss the head of a brad with Snowflake Tinsel Powder and attach the snowflake to the panel with the brad.  I didn't use any adhesive and the snowflake will turn which is kind of fun.  Attach the main panel to a silver mirror cardstock panel and then to a folded white card.

How cool. Lol. I would have guessed corrugated paper, but you achieved the look dtp. Love it, even though I hate the fact that is already is getting colder. But a stylish card warms the heart.
