Hello Crafty Friends! Kathy Jo here sharing a card using one of the newly released Quietfire Design stamps, The Best Thing:
The stamp is beautiful not only because of Suzanne's gorgeous calligraphy but also because of the quote. This stamp could be used for graduates, new college students, a person on a new endeavor or just a wonderful reminder for someone to believe in his or her self.
- Create a tent fold card using ivory card stock.
- Cut patterned paper smaller than base and apply gold marker to edges.
- Cut ivory card stock and coordinating patterned paper. Apply gold marker to edges and mount using double sided foam tape.
- Die cut gold card stock using Spellbinders' Oval Ironwork. Die cut patterned paper using smallest die from Oval Ironwork set.
- Stamp sentiment onto ivory card stock. Heat dry. Die cut using oval die from same set.
- Mount gold die cut onto base. Mount outer oval ring and small die cuts as shown. Mount oval sentiment onto stack using double sided foam tape.
- Apply flowers and pearls as shown.
Oh- the stamp is inspirational! Suzanne really knows how to create and inspire.
Thanks for stopping by! I do hope you enjoyed the card and that it also inspired you!
Have a happy, crafty day.
Big Hugs,
Kathy Jo
