Believe in the Magic of Christmas Card

Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with you my Believe in the Magic of Christmas Card. I combined a variety of dies, stamps and Modern Gilding Powder, which were all perfect for creating this card. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Believe in the Magic of Christmas Card at home.

To start, die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Rounded Rectangle out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Merry Christmas Background stamp and stamp in the middle of the rectangle. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powder over the stamped area. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Using a blending tool with foam, blend Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink over the entire surface of the emboss rectangle. Spritz the rectangle with water. Once the rectangle has dried, ink the edges of the rectangle using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the Flourished Deer out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the entire surface of the deer. Sprinkle Copper Scroll Modern Gilding Powder over the entire surface of the deer. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Believe in the Magic of Christmas sentiment from the Let Your Heart be Light Stamp set and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Cut the sentiment in half, creating to strips. Ink the edges of each strip using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the Flourished Frame out of a piece of black cardstock.

Choose two pieces of coordinating Christmas patterned paper. From one of the patterned papers, die cut a 4" Stitched Rounded Rectangle. From the other patterned paper, die cut a 3 3/4" Fitted Rounded Rectangle. Ink the edges of both rectangles using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Adhere the flourished frame to the 4" rectangle. Adhere the 3 3/4" rectangle to the middle of the 4" rectangle.

Foam square the 3 1/2" rectangle to the middle of the 3 3/4" rectangle. Foam square the flourished deer to the middle of the 3 1/2" rectangle.

Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the Believe in the Magic of Christmas word strips in the bottom right portion of the 3 1/2" rectangle.

To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 4" x 10 1/2", score at 5 1/4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.
