Floral Thank You French Country Style!
Good morning! Sherry here with you today and I have a card using Floral Thank You, lots of Spellbinders and Graphic 45 French Country to share with you. I have to admit that my project today was supposed to be a journal page (well at least in mind that what I had planned). Needless to say, after a few unsuccessful attempts and some ripping and tearing of pages, I ended up with the following card instead.
Using Graphic 45 French Country Collection for the card base, all the guess work of matching paper was taken out of the equation. I love to work with Graphic 45 papers . . . the mixing and matching is all right there for you! The border under the distressed paper edge was created with Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One.
The sentiment “Thank You” was stamped on a cutout from the French Country Collection and then wrapped with a frame die cut from chipboard using Labels Twenty-Eight.
The flower was made using Bitty Blossoms, wrapping all three layers together. The ribbon was dyed with Aged Mahogany Distress Stain and the edges of all the paper where sponged with Antique Linen and/or Vintage Photo.
Thanks for joining me today!
