Love Where You’re At Journal Page!
Good morning! Sherry here today and I have a journal page to share using Love Where You’re At and lots of Spellbinders die templates used to make stencils.
I started by applying a couple layers of gesso to the pages, and when dry added a few strips of linen hinging tape. Base colors of paint were brushed on and texture was added by applying other colors of paint with a sea sponge. Stencils were used to apply more color, which was dabbed on using the sea sponge. Spellbinders CrissCross Expandable Pattern was used to die cut a stencil with chipboard and a light paint was dabbed on for even more contrast and texture.
The heart is a stencil die cut from chipboard with Spellbinders Classic Heart and then paint was sponged on with a sea sponge. The heart was then outlined with black marker.
To create the work “Home”, chipboard was painted black and then die cut with Spellbinders Font One – Upper Case. Once glued down to the journal page, white dots were added with a paint brush.
The house was made by die cutting some scrap paper with Spellbinders Long Rectangles for the base, and Squares LG for the roof. The square was then cut in half with the chimney being cut from the extra side.
The sentiment was stamped in StazOn Jet Black.
That’s all for me today! Thanks for stopping by and joining me.

Delicious Sherry! Wonderful pages!
And I love the texture of the linen tape!
I love your journal page and the all the details of the process. Suzanne's lettering makes my quote look lovely and you've made it look even better.

I'm always so happy when I see someone has used your quote Joanne! Sherry did a beautiful job with it.
not sure if that is a card or a scrapbook page. What is gesso?
