Quietfire Flip Flops - New Digital Cutting File

These are just too fun! It's Suzanne here again today. I laughed and laughed the first day I made these.  I left tiny little ones around to see what the boys would say.  They ignored them! Can you believe it?  Okay, they never confessed to noticing them, but I wish I'd been a fly on the wall when they found them.

The Flip Flop cutting file contains one svg file for digital cutting, one manual cutting template for hand cutting, one low resolution jpg and our Terms of Use information.  The manual cutting template is for the "basic" flip flop which is approximately 3.5" and that is the size shown on this 5x7" card.

The quote was stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Lime which is a fabulous colour!  I'm not so much a citrus gal, but I'm looking for excuses to use this.  It's just the right amount of contrast with the card colour and not too light or too dark.

The Summer Lemonade die was cut from Arches 140lb Hot Press Watercolour Paper (the calligrapher's staple) and coloured with Tombow markers.

The collection of baby flip flops measure 1.75" long each.  I suggest not making the straps from a heavy cardstock when you're making them that small.

This next example is cut from Bo Bunny Gabrielle paper - love it!  I used the Silhouette Adhesive Magnetic paper for the sole, so this flip flop is a magnet!  It's larger than on the previous card, measuring 5" long.  It will certainly be a conversation piece on your fridge!

What kind of flip flops will you make?  Funky?  High fashion?  Trendy?  Will you write love messages on them?  Will you tuck them into your little ones' lunch boxes?  Will you wear them on your fingers and dance around the house? (we want video proof of that!)
Happy Flip Flopping!
Suzanne
