Stamp focus: The best thing I ever did was Believe in you

Hello Crafty Friends.

It is the last day of February and I am so looking forward to March!  We spring ahead in March which means more sunny hours after work and in the craft room.  I am fortunate to have a happy, crafty space situated right by a window.  During the warmer weather I keep the window open to hear the sweet birds chirping and the squirrels playing in the trees.  Spring is full of life, hope and rejuvenation.  March inspired the uplifting card I am sharing today: the dark background appears as if it is being overrun by wee bright flowers.  And the stamp...well...it is one of my faves and I just had to use it!

As mentioned, the focal point of the card front is the beautiful stamp, The best thing- believe in you:
The Best Thing - Believe in You - Mounted
The stamp is perfect for a "proud of you" card, such as a grad or a loved one accomplishing a goal or trying for one.  I really wanted to accentuate the gorgeous calligraphic quote so it was stamped in black onto plain white card stock.
It truly is a lovely stamp!

A simple flower was adhered to one side of the die cut stamp.  Two corner die cuts were added for a touch of extra prettiness.  I tore the flower patterned paper at an angle and mounted it on dark patterned paper.  Keeping the background dark ensured the stamp remained the focal point.
Do you have a favorite stamp, die or digital file from Quietfire?  Feel free to state them in the comments below or share them on the Suzanne Cannon Fan Page on Facebook!  We would love to hear from you.

Big Hugs,
Kathy Jo
