Xmas Mitten Cutlery Holder

Yogi here with something a little different for me... A cutlery holder for your dinner table. When I was taking the pic of it, it almost made me want to have a dinner party. BIG GRIN.

Fold a piece of white cardstock (11h" x at least 6"w) in half to get a size 5.5"h x 6'w.

Place cutting template on top so that the bottom of the mitten lies along the fold line. Pencil in your mitten shape and cut out both layers at the same time.

Place the embossing folder (Cuttlebug "Distressed Stripes") so that the edge is in line with the lower edge of the mitten cuff - emboss. PS you can use any linear type embossing folder to mimic the knitting detail.

Ink the small and large "Snowflake Merry Christmas" stamps with Versafine Toffee and repeatedly stamp to cover the mitten, emboss with Queen's Gold embossing powder.

Sponge with Distress "Tumbled Glass" then hit the high points and randomly over the mitten, direct to paper, with Stormy Sky.

Put a small bead of glue right on the edge on the inside of the mitten and adhere both sides together to create the pocket.

Fold napkin decoratively and insert with cutlery. Voila easy peasy.

This is a cute idea, I think I'd use it for holding candies and candy canes. :)
