Just for you....
Hello everyone,
Yvonne here with a new card using the latest Quietfire stamps( set "Just for You").
For my card I used the following materials:
- Quietfire Stamps: Just for you (#6042)
- Black Archival ink
- Spellbinders Heirloom Oval (S4-447)
- Distress inkpads: Vintage Photo, Spun Sugar
- Blending tool
- grey, pink and white cardstock
- Mulberry flowers and leaves, pink satin ribbon
Since it´s Breast Awareness month, I made a pink ribbon card.
I think almost everyone of us know one or more women who have been struck by this horrible disease....
I would like to send my card on behalf of one of you to someone who could really use a cheer up.
All you have to do is leave a comment under this blogpost and mention that you know someone who you would like this card being sent to.
We will pick a random "winner" to be announced in my next Quietfire blogpost (coming Friday the 31st). Then (per private email) you can send me the adress and personal note you would like on the card.
Please do know I live in The Netherlands so it will take at least a week for the card to arrive.
I hope you like my small gesture towards awareness and hope to cheer up someone with my card....
Hugs to all of you,
Yvonne

gorgeous card...
What a lovely card! Prachtig :). Luckily, I don't know anyone who needs it.
groetjes,
Debbie / Daqa.
Such a lovely card and your offer to send it to someone living with this disease is very thoughtful. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us.
This is a stunning card. Thank you for offering to send it to someone with breast cancer. I do know of a lady in my town who has breast cancer, got diagnosed last year and had a mastectomy. Still issues with the reconstruction, but she's in for more treatments til the 31st :)
Such a gorgeous card and it will certainly encourage and brighten someone's day. Bravo!
Beautiful card!
beautiful. have a great day
Beautiful card Yvonne and especially the thought behind it! Blessings
Beautiful card. I have a friend who beat breast cancer this year. I lost another friend in the spring - she had leukemia.
I have a friend who is experiencing breast cancer for the second time. She has a disabled husband, lost both legs in a tractor accident. She also has two little boys who really need their MOM. She serves on our Parks and Recreation Board and had a pink and purple event this past month even though she was going through radiation. She deserves to win. Please. Contact me by email and I will send her name and address.
