Winter Die - Snowmen Fall From Heaven - Easel

Yogi here today with a Christmas easel card... I know summer just began, how can we think of Christmas and winter already...

I created an easel card and built a snowman as the stopper. Also finally using up a scrap piece of Oriental scrapbook paper I've had laying around for eons... Love the fedora hat on the snowman. so here's what I used and did.

I'm using one of the NEWEST "A Way With Words" dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs ("4 Seasons" 4pce die set), designed by Suzanne Cannon (also available HERE).

I'm also using a quote stamp ("Snowmen Fall From Heaven...") from Quietfire Design  and a couple eCut files ("Fedora"); ("Joy") available on the Silhouette onLine store.
Scored and folded my mid toned blue card cardstock to create the easel. (6.5"w x 8"h easel closed). Adhered a 2nd piece of blue cardstock to the front, then adhered the Oriental "Winter Waves" scrapbook paper. (the waves reminded me of mountains...).

Die cut the word "Winter" (
4 Seasons ) from white cardstock, inked with Distress "Broken China" and embossed with Emerald Creek Hot Stuff "Turquoise Shimmer" embossing powder. Adhered to front.

eCut the word
"Joy" from white cardstock, inked with "Fired Brick" and clear embossed twice. Adhered to front.

On the floor: Stamped the quote ("Snowmen Fall From Heaven...") using Distress "Picket Fence" and embossed with Emerald Creek "Glacier White" embossing powder.

Electronically cut a bunch of various sized circles for the snowman (you could die cut or punch them out...). Inked them with Versamark and embossed with Emerald Creek "Soft Fallen Snow". Adhered the circles together (3", 2.5" & 1.5")

eCut the
"Fedora" and sponged with various browns, adding red to the band and embossing with Emerald Creek "Enhanced Red Pearl" embossing powder. Adhered to head of snowman and added a small feather.

Added a couple mini black rhinestones for eyes, and cut a small triangle colored with orange for the nose.

Tied a plaid ribbon around his neck and adhered with a glue gun. Adhered the masculine buttons.

Die cut the "Tree Branch" (Sizzix -Tim's), inked with browns and embossed with Distress "Walnut Stain" embossing powder. Pinched off a couple branches for the arms. Adhered the snowman to the floor to act as the stopper.

As a final touch added some white snowflake buttons on the floor.
